Kids’ Compassion Project Featuring Kenzi’s Causes

WHO: We are excited to partner with you on behalf of Kenzi’s Causes / Dolls for Daughters, an amazing organization whose mission is “to put a simple smile on the faces of underprivileged children, and to help struggling families get on their feet in communities throughout Colorado. 

WHAT: Participants will help both before and during the event by first collecting food and school items in the weeks prior to the event, then at the event, participants will learn about the children and families served by Kenzi’s Causes/Dolls for Daughters and the difference they are making by providing these much needed supplies:

• BEFORE: We will be asking for volunteers to solicit food donations. We will be circulating a signup sheet asking for children and their parents to solicit goods donations from people who are shopping at participating stores. Participating businesses will also serve as dropoff locations for donations.
• DURING: At the event on June 30, 2018, participants will sorting supplies, packing baskets and learning about those being served by Kenzi’s Causes/Dolls for Daughters via Kenzi’s Kidz, Packz 4 Kidz and their Toy Shop. Thanks to local psychologist and KCP board member, Dr. Kerry Makin Byrd, participants will be provided with meaningful processing opportunities to reinforce learning and build compassion in participants.
• AFTER: As always, participants will walk away with additional ways they can serve as families, and more information about a great local organization.
