Hands Up For the Children – KCP Spotlight Event

We will purchase the supplies for the homeless care kits (the 2nd project) with your registration fees and donations. Thank you!

On October 15, participants will come together to pack supply bags with much-needed food and essentials to serve hungry children in Denver. We will be charging a registration fee of $5 per child, so the supplies for the homeless care kits can be purchased in advance. (if you are able to pay more than $5, please choose donation tickets when you check out). Anything you contribute to this event will be used directly to purchase supplies. We will also send out a Signup Genius to all participants and we ask you to bring any items you can from the needed items list.

At the event, children and their parents will learn about Hands Up For The Children and the people they serve. They will then actively work together to sort and bag the items.

Creating Homeless Care Kits

We are also adding on a “bonus project.” We will have participants create care kits with useful items to hand to the homeless or others you may encounter asking as you drive.  These kits will contain practical items to help those in need, and allow your children to be a part of giving back.
