At the event, children and their parents learned about Hands Up For The Children and the people they serve. They then actively worked together to sort and bag the items.

Creating Homeless Care Kits

We also added on a “bonus project.” Participants created care kits with useful items to hand to the homeless or others you may encounter asking as you drive.  This is a project we highly recommend doing at home in the future, allowing your children to be a part of giving back.
